This workshop will explore music as a spiritual practice and a path to opening one’s heart and uncovering one’s true nature.

Participants will engage in a wide range of musical experiences, from traditional and contemporary traditions, designed to open the heart and create equanimity, joy, ecstasy, and healing. The workshop will include sessions of toning, chanting, harmony and rhythm, improvisational sounding, meditation, and silence, in a safe, lighthearted, and sacred environment. No musical experience is necessary.

Kundalini Yoga Class

Move toward a more flexible, grounded, stress-free you with Kundalini yoga classes. A Raj or royal yoga of awareness, Kundalini is the most ancient form of yoga first practiced 45,000 years ago in India. Whether your goal is to improve your health, strength and flexibility, develop a results oriented meditation practice, or increase your awareness and intuition, it is an excellent practice. Beginners are always welcome and are introduced to the techniques of the practice, which include a healing kriya (exercise set), a meditation, the locks or bhandas, breath of fire, long deep breathing, mudras and mantras. The sets and meditations also benefit and challenge those with experience.

 

Certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, Siri Amir is your guide to the journey within. RSVP recommended for a single class or drop-in. .

 

What to Bring: Wear cotton clothing and bring water, a yoga mat and a cotton or wool blanket.

The GROOVE method incorporates aspects from yoga/pilates/dance/fitness etc., to create music-driven movements for cardio, strength and flexibility. This workout is perfect for every age and everyBODY! We will learn simple and easy moves from a variety of different dance styles (Hip Hop, Urban, House, Jazz, Bollywood, Latin, African, Contemporary, Swing, Disco and many more!) inspired by all different styles of music with beats you cannot resist! Come move, shake, wiggle, shimmy, stomp and GROOVE with me!

 

Join Liz Zdunich for this weekly 60 minute class that will be high-energy, simple and fun! Movements are purpose-driven and are designed to build strength in a full range of motion, so that you can feel stable and strong, and live a healthier, more vibrant life!
